1. On-Device Analysis

All photo and video analysis — finding duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, blurry photos, and large videos — happens entirely on your device, using Apple's and Android's own on-device frameworks. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to any server, and SnapSweep has no servers that receive them.

2. What We Don't Collect

SnapSweep does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your photos, videos, or their contents. We cannot see your library. We don't require an account, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, which receives anonymous purchase information to validate your subscription. This never includes your photos or videos.

4. Deletion

When you confirm a deletion, SnapSweep asks your phone's operating system to remove the items — the same system dialog you'd see deleting a photo manually. Deleted items move to your device's Recently Deleted (iOS) or Trash (Android) album for up to 30 days, where you can recover them if you change your mind.

5. Ads (if enabled)

If you use the free, ad-supported tier, a third-party ad network may be shown a rewarded ad in exchange for additional free cleanups. Ad networks may process device- and advertising-identifier data under their own privacy policies, consistent with the consent choices you're shown before any ad loads. Ads are never shown to Premium subscribers.

6. Website Data

This website (getsnapsweep.app) may use aggregated, anonymized analytics to understand traffic, and stores the email address you provide if you subscribe to our newsletter. We never sell this data.

7. Your Rights

• Uninstalling the app removes everything SnapSweep stores locally
• You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via the link in any email
• You can request deletion of any data we hold by contacting us below

8. Age Requirement

SnapSweep is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically — for example, when new features like ad-supported cleaning ship. Significant changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
